Deacons and Deaconesses Ministry
The New Testament word “deacon” literally means servant. At Restoring Grace Community Church, the Deacons and Deaconesses strive to serve the Lord through ministering to members who are sick and suffering, assisting in the preparation for Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. Specifically, our Deaconesses serve the women and girls of our congregation and community.
Both groups encourage and strengthen new converts and the spiritually weak. Additionally, they provide assistance to the Pastor in receiving new members during worship and evangelistic services, follow-up instruction for those who have made decisions to follow Christ, and serving families during their time of bereavement.
