Dr. Symonette accepted Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior at the Ebenezer Baptist Church, Nashville, Tennessee, under the pastorate of the late Rev. N. Samuel Jones (Director of Publications for the National Baptist Sunday School Publishing Board). There, he was subsequently baptized by his father, the Rev. John Symonette.   Later, he was licensed and ordained to the ministry by the Greater Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, Louisville, Kentucky. 
Dr. Symonette has served churches in the Bahamas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, and Florida. He has preached, performed, and  lectured, across denominational lines in Conferences, Conventions, and for Colleges and Universities.  
Dr. Symonette has also served as Director of a Family Life Center; an Assistant Administrator and Dean at a Christian Academy; an Instructor at a Catholic School; and served as Supervisor of Counseling for a Substance Abuse and HIV/AIDS social service agency.  Additionally, he served as a Music Coordinator and Accompanist for the University of Louisville’s Dance Academy.  He has served as the Chairman of the Board for Friends of Children, Fort Lauderdale, Florida; and on the Board of Excel Academy Charter School, Miami, Florida.
Among the many honors and awards that he has received are the Scholar of the Year and the President's Award from the Florida Memorial University; Outstanding Young Men of America; Who’s Who in Religion; Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers; and a Model of Excellence from the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, Ft. Lauderdale. Dr. Symonette was selected as an Outstanding African-American Man by the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority (Fort Lauderdale Chapter), and his biography has also been included among the International Men of the Year (Cambridge, England). 
Dr. Symonette studied at the Jefferson Community College, Louisville, Kentucky. He graduated from the University of Louisville, with a Bachelors degree in Music Education, and also from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Masters degree. He also received a Doctor of Ministry degree, with an emphasis in pastoral studies and biblical theology, from the Luther Rice Seminary in Atlanta, Georgia. He has also done post-doctoral work in Education at Walden University! 
In addition to serving as the Pastor of Restoring Grace Community Church, he continues to serve the Kingdom of God as the President of the Emmaus Institute.

Joyce Hoskins

Minister Joyce Hoskins was born in Miami, Florida to Wanda and the late George Hoskins, as one of four siblings, which included a dearly beloved brother (deceased) and two sisters who currently reside in Florida.  
She received her early education in the public school system of Miami, Florida. After graduating high school from Miami’s Northwestern Senior High School, she attended the Miami Dade College, where she received Certificates in Human Resource Management and Human Resources Operations.  She also graduated from and was certified by the Florida Baptist Convention program for Ministers of Christian Education. Currently, she is completing the requirements for her degree in Public Administration from the Miami Dade College.  Minister Hoskins is also enrolled in the Biblical/Theological Studies program at the Emmaus Institute.
Minister Hoskins accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior in 1997. Some years later, she acknowledged her call to the preaching ministry. Subsequently, she was licensed by the Restoring Grace Community Church, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.    
She continues to serve the Lord, Jesus Christ, as a licensed Minister of the Gospel and Director of Christian Education for Restoring Grace Community Church, Fort Lauderdale.
